Physical Books Or Ebooks Reddit
Several years ago i stopped buying physical books and started reading exclusively on my kindle.
Physical books or ebooks reddit. I live in canada so i m also concerned about shipping. Do you think a physical book is worth it. E books have been around for quite some time now but it wasn t until amazon launched the kindle e reader in 2007 that it really exploded.
On amazon you can by three ebooks for 2 99 from some lesser known author or you can buy one got ebook for 10. Partisans of physical books cite numbers from the big publishers which tend to show increased sales of hardcopies making up for a fall in ebook sales. I m thinking of getting myself a book in hebrew for christmas.
Why is reading physical books better than watching educational videos. Similar to the question why do we still have books when we already have the internet. I read more and enjoyed it more.
Long are the days when we could only read in paper format. Amazon s tax practices and recent stories about fake ebooks on the site potentially being used for money laundering have provided further ammunition for those who seek to paint ebooks as a bad thing. Books seem like inefficient way of learning something that can be explained in one video.
Put questions in the comments i am happy to help. Sorry if formatting is bad. I do this a lot for school because when they give us physical books i don t want to have to worry about having to the book around whenever i want to read it.
You re spending about the same but according to the publishing industry they are making more off the got book then they would the 3 lesser known books. I could take many books with me and the convenience of grabbing a new book from the kindle store or somewhere else on the web was simply awesome.
